Autonext Automation is a Mumbai-based startup that has revolutionized the tractor industry by launching electric tractors. These tractors use Artificial Intelligence (AI) and autonomous technology, making them easy to operate without a driver. The company has recently raised Rs 6.4 crore in seed funding to develop India's first electric tractor, and it is now preparing to launch three models in 20 HP, 35 HP, and 45 HP variants in the current financial year. In this post, we will take a closer look at Autonext Automation's electric tractors and their features.
Autonext Automation has manufactured three different tractor variants, namely the X20H4 Electric Tractor, the X35H2 Electric Tractor, and the X45H2 Electric Tractor. Here are the key features of each model:
The X20H4 electric tractor is powered by a 15KW motor and a 15KWh battery. It can be charged in a minimum of 2 hours and a maximum of 8 hours. This tractor can work continuously for 5 hours on 5 acres of land. Its lifting capacity is 650 kg, and it weighs 1150 kg. It has 6 gears for forward and 2 gears for reverse. Oil-immersed drum brakes are provided, and it has hydraulic power steering. The ground clearance is 280 mm, and the wheelbase is 1500 mm.
The X35H2 electric tractor is powered by a 20KW motor and a 25KWh battery. It can be charged in a minimum of 2 hours and a maximum of 8 hours. This tractor can work continuously for 6 hours on 6 acres of land. Its lifting capacity is 1400 kg, and it weighs 1800 kg. It has 8 gears for forward and 2 gears for reverse. This tractor comes with hydraulic power steering and oil-immersed drum brakes. The ground clearance is 400 mm, and the wheelbase is 1950 mm.
The X45H2 electric tractor is powered by a 32KW motor and a 35KWh battery. It can be charged in a minimum of 2 hours and a maximum of 8 hours. This tractor can work continuously for 8 hours in 8 acres of land. Its lifting capacity is 1800 kg. This tractor has Smart Electrically Controlled Power Steering and Hydraulics. It has been given a base of smart draft control/e-hitch type. It has special features of crop health analysis.
Apart from electric tractors, Autonext Automation is also preparing to launch electric self-driving tractors. The company is expected to launch the Electric Self-Driving Tractor (Autonomous) in the market in 2024. The company is also actively working on its automation stack powered by Artificial Intelligence (AI) and 5G technology, which they are testing on various use cases of tractors. The company plans to release the self-driving tractor by 2024, which will increase the profitability of electric tractors and reduce the difficulties faced by farmers while driving the tractor in the field in adverse conditions.
In addition to launching electric tractors, AutoNext Automation is also set to introduce mobile applications that will help farmers manage their tractors efficiently. The company has developed a smart VCU (Vehicle Control Unit) for its tractors, which provides a complete smart analysis of tractor performance, health, and the possibility of leasing tractors.
The mobile application will allow farmers to access real-time data about their tractors, including battery level, charging time, and performance metrics. Farmers can also use the app to remotely control and monitor their tractors, making it easier for them to manage their farming operations.
